It’s official; WordCamp Charleston, the first in the state of South Carolina, will be held on May 17, 2014. The arrival of the new year means the event staff is in full countdown mode for the upcoming date, and we’re excited about some of things we’re planning.
The city of Charleston, also known as ‘The Holy City’, is the oldest and second-largest city in South Carolina and boasts a unique character that’s complemented by its culture, growing tech scene, decadent cuisine and historic charm. In addition, Charleston has a buzzing WordPress community, it’s hard to believe there hasn’t been a WordCamp held here before.
For the inaugural year, we’re planning a one-day event to be held at the College of Charleston, and emphasis on quality content covering all topics relating to WordPress, from a beginner level to developer sessions, and much more.
